My name is Chris Beattie and I’ve worked as an ICT Manager in a K-12 school in Western Australia for the last decade. Now returned to Ireland for a season, I’m acting in a consultancy capacity on systems and security with an enduring focus on the edu world.
Why edu? It’s where my heart is, really. Small changes make a big difference, technology is seen as an enabler, there’s no end of interesting challenges and the community support is incredible.
My primary interests are cybersecurity and modern device management in a Microsoft context but I’m up to my neck in plenty of other educational technologies; the combination of all those angles will feed this merry little collection of writings.
